Hi, I need a pruning saw to help me prune branches that are too big for my hand bypass pruners and loppers. What's the best one? Thanks!!!

I'm considering this DeWalt minichainsaw https://www.amazon.com/Dewalt-Pruning-Chainsaw-Brushless-Cordless/dp/B0C2R4H6YK/ but not sure if it's actually not as good for certain situations.

I went with the Corona 13" Pruning Saw https://www.amazon.com/Corona-Pruning-Curved-RS-7120/dp/B00004R9YE/ . We'll see how it goes.

That 13" Corona made short work of the branches I needed to prune (nothing crazy big). Would recommend.

I'm still trying to figure out what the best pole saw for pruning is. Any ideas?

https://chatgpt.com/share/67f5b030-0c8c-8009-a93c-78344dec9089 It depends a bit on your needs (like tree size, how often you'll use it, etc.), but here are a few top pruning saw options across categories: --- ### 🌳 **Best Overall (Manual):** **Silky Gomboy 240 Folding Saw** - **Why:** Razor-sharp Japanese steel, folds compactly, ergonomic handle, lasts years. - **Best for:** Medium branches (1.5–4 inches), general use. - **Price:** ~$45–60 --- ### πŸ”‹ **Best Electric (Cordless):** **Milwaukee M12 FUEL HATCHET 6" Pruning Saw** - **Why:** Compact, powerful, easy to control, great battery life. - **Best for:** Frequent pruning or bigger trees. - **Price:** ~$250 with battery/charger --- ### βœ‚οΈ **Best Budget Manual:** **Corona RazorTOOTH Folding Saw, 10-Inch** - **Why:** Sharp blade, solid performance, great value. - **Best for:** Occasional yard pruning. - **Price:** ~$25–30 --- ### πŸͺš **Best for Thick Branches (Heavy-Duty Manual):** **Silky Bigboy 2000 Folding Saw (14.2")** - **Why:** Long reach, deep aggressive teeth, very fast cutting. - **Best for:** Thick or high branches, more serious pruning. - **Price:** ~$70–90 --- If you want something **lightweight and foldable**, Silky is hard to beat. If you’re trimming big stuff regularly or want powered help, Milwaukee or DeWalt cordless mini chainsaws are excellent. Want a specific recommendation based on your garden setup or trees you're working with?
